From June 21st to 23rd, the Thai Festival was held in Beijing, China. Over 40 Thai and Thai-localized businesses gathered in Sanlitun, a popular place in Beijing, presenting a Thai marketplace featuring cultural performances, authentic cuisine, and exchanges to immerse local residents in Thai culture.
The Thai Cultural Festival is the largest annual Thai cultural event in Beijing, now in its ninth edition organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in China. It integrates Thai elements across various fields with the aim of promoting cultural exchange, business cooperation, and preparing for the joint celebration of the 50th anniversary of Thailand-China diplomatic relations in 2025. Through recreating traditional Thai markets, performing distinctive musical instruments, showcasing traditional dances such as Thai boxing, the festival presents the rich and unique Thai culture to the Chinese public.
